Interest-free credit

When your bill is paid on time and in full every month, you won't have to pay any interest on your retail purchases. For those times when you need a little extra, we can increase your credit card limit at no extra cost - simply go to the Services menu of your online banking account and send us your request. All credit limit increases are subject to assessment of creditworthiness

Additional cardholders

With An Post Money, you can add up to three additional cardholders as users of your credit limit. They’ll be given their own credit card and PIN, at no extra cost, so there’s no need for separate credit card accounts. It’s an easy way to give your family access to credit as required. All transactions and charges are on the same statement so everyone’s spending is there for you to see. With Government Stamp duty of €30 per year for every credit card account, our credit card could save you and your family up to €90 per year.

Global acceptance

An Post Money credit cards are accepted globally, wherever you see the Mastercard sign. You can use your credit card to make regular withdrawals in cash machines all over the world. You can also make over-the-counter withdrawals in banks, building societies and bureaus de change.

Fraud protection

We’ve got your back when something fraudulent happens. If you purchase goods and they never arrive or your credit card gets into the wrong hands, we’ll do our best to help you get a refund through the Mastercard chargeback scheme.

In the event of a stolen or lost card, we’re here to help. We provide an emergency card and cash service should you require a card replacement or emergency cash. We can send a brand new credit card or emergency cash to most countries around the world within 48 hours.

Mastercard Priceless offers

As a Mastercard customer, you can avail of its Priceless Cities offers and experiences in Ireland and other major cities around the world. These fantastic offers include hotel getaways, fine dining, golf and spa breaks and much more.

Travel services

When you’re travelling abroad, let us know and we’ll add a travel notice to your account to reduce any inconvenience you may experience when using your card abroad. You can do this through your online account.

Our travel services also include International SOS Assistance Limited which offers special emergency services to assist customers travelling outside of Ireland for a period of no more than 90 days. You can call them at any hour of the day or night, 365 days of the year on +44 208 762 8129.

Money Transfers

Money Transfers let you move money directly from your credit card to your personal bank account. The interest rate on money transfers is 16.8% and you can transfer from €100 up to 95% of your credit limit. If you transfer before 2.30pm on a weekday, the funds will be credited to your account in one business day. Transfers completed after 2.30pm or on weekends and bank holidays will take two business days.

eStatements

We know that our customers are online, and want quick access to their account information wherever they are, whenever they want it. All An Post Money statements are available online, allowing you to review your card activity over the past three years. You can also download or save statements to view at a time that suits you.
